Social Innovation in Western Australia (SiiWA), along with Social Ventures Australia, Social Traders, Centre for Social Impact and Western Australia Council of Social Services have been selected as the capacity building partner for the WA State Governments $10 million Social Enterprise Fund – Grants Program.

As a first for WA, 2012 signifies a dramatic evolution in our State’s history with our first official public holiday name change - Foundation Day will now be known as WA Day.

Today marks a historic milestone in the fight against preventable disease – 1 year without a polio case, for the first time in India’s history.
The deadline for applications for the Graduate Certificate in Social Impact (GCSI) 2012 has been extended until Friday 20 January 2012. This course has been warmly received by industry, government and the social services sectors in 2011 and the graduating students have enthusiastically promoted the social impact learnings as “game-changing” and “immediately applicable back at work”.
