As a first for WA, 2012 signifies a dramatic evolution in our State’s history with our first official public holiday name change - Foundation Day will now be known as WA Day.

On the 14th of March, 2012, Giving West hosted it's first major event for 2012: A Journey with David Gonski: Australian giving - where it's come from and where it's going in troubled times. The sold out breakfast at the Hyatt Regency Perth was an enormous success, and we are most indebted to our event partners KPMG and the Hyatt Regency Perth for their assistance and support.
